The Plenty Measure: Where do my foods come from?

I have read up to November. I thought for awhile that I would read a chapter with each month that I go through, but I became involved in the book. I also just realized that the chapters change as to who is telling the story (duhh!).
As I read I marked several pages that I wanted to share and talk about.

Finished Three Cups and On to Eat, Pray, Love

I have really enjoyed reading Elizabeth Gilbert's book. I totally agree with Tina that it is like sitting down and having coffee with a friend. I have already read through the section on Italy and can't wait to start India. I just have one question for you ladies....what is the one word that describes you? I love holidays!

It is back to work. So what better thing to do than stall out on work and post to our Alaska Mama's book club. Actually my excuse is valid, as I make it a point to stay off the computer during holidays. I spend enough time already in front of the screen.
So I took the time to finish the book Eat, Love , Pray.

Ohh dear...

I still have not been able to put the book down, with an exception. I am about half way through the book and it has caused me to think sooo much. But I have to be brave and honest (snicker) and admit that I picked up Twilight as an evening-let-down-my-hair book and let-my-brain-relax and I could not put it down. Talk about book-candy. There is not a whole bunch of substance to the book (really none) but it has capitalized my time for reading.
